Provided independent strategic consulting for a variety of Information technology companies. Drove improvements for mobile apps, pilot programs, sign-up funnels and designed on-boarding strategies. Ramped product management functions including organizational design, hiring and training resulting in a well-defined product roadmap and launch plan.

Guidance Software 2015-2017

Sr Director, Programs – Overall product marketing owner for EnCase Training.  Managed a team of 16 forensic security subject matter experts in the delivery of OnDemand, vClass and Classroom learning programs.  Spearheaded a new sales enablement initiative to ramp up new staff on Guidance’s EnCase Forensic Security suite, resulting in a 50% improvement in time to first close. 

j2 Cloud Services 2014-2015

Director, Product Management – Managed a team of 6 professional product managers on initiatives that improve core infrastructure and optimize key back office business processes.  Drive product roadmap and life cycle management for j2 Cloud Services messaging platforms, billing applications, CMS and fax APIs. 

 EarthLink 2006-2009

VP Search, Commerce & Portals – Responsible for Product Management and operations of the MyEarthLink and PeoplePC consumer Portals, Toolbar, IM Client and subscription services. Managed the roadmap and execution for a suite of consumer and small business products which contributed $100M in sales. Integrated partner applications with Google, EBay, Amazon, Expedia and others. Implemented new product dev processes and workflows after company-wide reorganization

 FastSoft, Inc. 2006  – FastSoft was a startup, incubated at the Caltech’s networking lab, it was acquired by Akamai in 2012.

VP Market Development – Responsible for all aspects of Product Marketing including Product Management, PR, Web site development, product positioning, sales support and beta program administration. Developed and implemented strategic marketing and support programs and set up workflow system for lead generation and CRM. Prepared product roadmap, beta program documentation for the FastTCP acceleration appliance

Yahoo! Search Marketing (formerly Overture) 2002-2006 A division of Yahoo! providing pay-per-click advertising

VP Product Management – Responsible for full life-cycle product management and implementation of all aspects of matching and search optimization including delivery, relevance, APIs, auction rules, pricing & policy compliance in 20 markets worldwide. 

Walt Disney Internet Group – Go Network (formerly Infoseek) 1996-2000

VP of Communities – Responsible for overall product development for interactive communities under an $11M Budget. Managed a cross-functional team of 30 professionals in engineering, QA, product management and content producer job functions. 

VP Product Management – Project leader for the GO Network, a joint initiative between Infoseek, Starwave and The Walt Disney Company. Responsible for the overall coordination and communication of product development efforts of more than 200 cross functional team members.  Successfully met the aggressive goal of launching and repositioning Infoseek as Disney’s Internet portal, including 17 major product features within aggressive timelines
